White Tie & Tails is a five piece jazz band which plays in a wide range of styles, from Argentinean Tango and Gypsy, to 1920s swing and Art Café. The band can perform simply as a background ensemble, but we also provide a 45-minute cabaret act, ideal for after-dinner entertainment. The cabaret programme includes music from Gershwin to Britney Spears, as well as some original material, and aims to entertain visually as well as musically, with mid-piece instrument swapping etc.

For more intimate occasions, the band can be broken down into smaller background ensembles of two, three or four, still maintaining a varied repertoire. Or why not opt simply for a cocktail pianist, the classic accompaniment to any gathering?

For more formal occasions, the White Tie and Tails duo (violin/voice and piano) is available to perform either a selection of purely classical music, or a two-part programme, the second half of which involves easy-listening songs and jazz standards arranged for violin and piano.
